First setback for Markelle Fultz and the Sixers, because No. 1 in the last draft was injured on the last day of the Las Vegas Summer League. It does not seem to be too serious, though it will have to wait. The player injured an ankle.
He played the second part of the Warriors-Sixers (93-95 at the end) when Fultz suffered a sprained left ankle and had to leave the track path of the locker room leaning on two teammates.
Fultz could only be active 15 minutes in which he contributed 8 points and 2 rebounds with a poor 3 of 12 on the field goal.
The injury, in principle minor, arrives in a team that has undergone very serious injuries of its most promising young people: Joel Embiid and Ben Simmons.
The joy for the Sixers was in the performance of newcomer Furkan Korkmaz, author of 15 points. The best of Warriors was a player who did well with the team last season, Patrick McCaw. He signed 25 points with 5 triples.
