Portland Trail Blazers forward Al-Farouq Aminu is expected to miss 2-3 weeks of action, according to Jason Quick of NBC Sports NW.

Aminu injured his ankle in the Trail Blazers’ overtime loss to the Utah Jazz on Wednesday night. This timeline places him back in the days leading up to Thanksgiving but is, of course, subject to change as he recovers.
In Aminu’s first absence, Noah Vonleh drew the start at power forward and may or may not continue to do so. Vonleh paired well with Jusuf Nurkic in the starting lineup toward the end of last season and head coach Terry Stotts could look to replicate that success.
